We do not guarantee there will not be any duplication of food items throughout the festival. However, we do attempt to avoid duplication.

*** A deposit will be required in addition to the booth payment. Vendors are to remain open during festival hours both days and will be responsible for cleaning up theier space and placing all trash in the festival dumpster. Those who do not comply will forfeit their deposit.
NO BOOTH REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED ON BOOTH CANCELLATIONS AFTER August 25, 2011 Payment must be received by the Melonfest treasurer no later than one week prior to the festival, or paid in cash. No Vendor will be allowed to set up before payment is made and insurance form or statement is provided.
FOOD BOOTH APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE HEALTH DEPT. NO LATER THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FESTIVAL. FOR-PROFIT FOOD BOOTHS WILL BE INSPECTED ONE HOUR BEFORE FESTIVAL BEGINS, SO PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE PRESENT.
OFFICIAL FESTIVAL OPENING TIME: FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 @ 11 A.M.
All booths must be set up between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Friday morning. Vendors with large trailers or concession booths will be placed in their spots first and those with tents or tables will be asked to wait until 9:30 a.m. to set up. Anyone wishing to set up Thursday evening should make prior arrangements with the vendor chairman.
Vendor opening and closing times: Friday, Sept. 9, 11a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 10, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Vendor teardown time: After 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 or on Sunday, Sept. 11.
I/We the undersigned do hereby agree to follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the MelonFest Committee, the Jackson County Commissioners and the Town Council of Brownstown, Indiana. I/We also understand and do so agree not to hold the Brownstown MelonFest and/or its members responsible for any accidents, lost, stolen or damaged property.
