2010 MELONFEST ACTIVITIES

 

CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT: Held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, on the courthouse lawn. Entry fee is $20 for a two-person team and forms must be in by Sept. 1. Jackson-Jennings Co-Op and Kova Farm Supply are sponsors. Trophies for first and second place will be awarded as well as cash awards. Click here for rules.

MELON BOWLING: Begins at 10 a.m. Saturday on the front courthouse sidewalk. All ages are welcome to participate in this free event. No entry forms are required, but participants should be present at 9:45 a.m. Prizes will be awarded.

WATERMELON CONTESTS: Tri-Kappa sorority will sponsor the seed-spitting, watermelon steel and watermelon relays after the parade on Saturday on Walnut St.
