• VENDOR FORM IS AVAILABLE: with all the information you need to reserve your spot for this year’s festival. The Melonfest Committee is dedicated to continually improving the festival and we want our vendors to have a good experience and return year after year. If you would like the same spot as last year, indicate this on your form. Placement of your booth is at the discretion of the committee, based on your needs. A list of vendors as their applications are received will be posted on the website, www.brownstownchamber.org.

SET UP DAY IS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, after 4:30 p.m. Those with trailers or concession stands will be set up first for safety reasons. Vendors with tents or tables will be asked to wait until after 6:00 p.m. to set up.

Deadline for applications: July 31, 2010. No refunds after Aug. 31.

• ATTENTION: Food Vendors – Remember that space is limited for those needing 220v and water for their booths, so send in your application early. Please send a menu, so we can assign spaces fairly. Completed Food Booth Applications must be submitted to the Jackson County Health Department office no later than 10 days prior to the festival. Applications are available on-line at www.jacksoncountyhealth-in.com or by calling 812-522-6474. For-profit food booths will be inspected one hour prior to festival opening, so please have someone present at 10 a.m. Friday.

• PHOTO REQUIRED OF DISPLAY – Please make sure you send us a photo of your food vendor booth, flea market or crafter booth so we will know how to anticipate your needs in getting you set up at the MelonFest. A list of items you will be selling is also requested.

***CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE REQUIRED – All vendors must submit a Certificate of Insurance along with their application. Any live animal events, inflatables or mechanical amusements must include an endorsement on their certificate of insurance that lists Brownstown Melonfest, Inc. as “additional insured.”
